The MCA in Customs, Taxation and International Trade Law is a postgraduate course that aims to prepare customs practitioners in the public and private sector for managerial posts. It is open to customs practitioners in the European Union and neighbouring countries.
The course is part-time and lasts 18 months. It consists of monthly classes (which can also be followed online) and self-study. This structure enables participants to complete the course without spending extended periods away from the workplace. Graduates will gain the unique degree "Master of Customs Administration" (MCA).
The MCA is offered by the WWU Münster, one of Germany’s leading universities and the AWA Foreign Trade Academy, the largest private provider of customs training in Germany.
The programme has been accredited in accordance with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and has also been officially recognised by the World Customs Organisation as complying with its PICARD standards for customs-related postgraduate courses.
