Personal data enjoy a special protection on which you may rely: The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is an important concern for AWA Foreign Trade Academy, Königsstraße 46, 48143 Münster and a part of the implementation of transparency obligations in data processing within the meaning of Art. 13, 14. We take this into account in all our business processes.

We would like to inform you at this point whether and how your data is collected or used when you visit our website.

Technical data we collect

When you use our website, technical access data is automatically recorded and evaluated by AWA's Internet servers (web servers). However, this data cannot be assigned to a specific person; the individual user remains anonymous. These can be, for example, data from public directories, such as exhibitor directories of trade fairs on foreign trade law or publicly accessible member directories of industrial sectors related to foreign trade.The personal data consists mainly of contact and address data, passwords for online registrations, data on contract processing and data on the organisation of the seminar stay (e.g. information on food incompatibilities), which you yourself transmit to us.

Contact form

On our website there is a contact form which can be used for electronic contact. If you take advantage of this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and saved.

By sending this form you agree to the processing. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted by e-mail will be stored. In this context, the data will not be passed on to third parties. The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation.

The processing of the personal data from the input mask serves us only for the treatment of the establishment of contact. The other personal data processed during the sending process serve to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

The legal basis for the processing of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO if the user has given his consent. The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If the e-mail contact aims at the conclusion of a contract, then additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 exp. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

AWA processes and uses all personal data arising from your visits to our website only in accordance with the applicable regulations and only for the purposes stated in this data protection declaration. If you request information on the AWA offer or make bookings, we store and use your data transmitted to us for the purpose of providing services, if necessary for invoicing, as well as for sending you information on similar offers from us and our partner companies by post and electronically (if you are in a customer relationship with us).
