Sabine van Osenbrüggen

Sabine van Osenbrüggen has been in Siemens AG since 1980. She has been working as acommercial project manager at Siemens Fossil Service for the first 17 years of her career and took the challenge of export control and customs in 2000. She implemented the Siemens Internal Control Program in the Service organization and its affiliated companies in Europe.  With this experience she went to Denmark in 2007 to join the Siemens Wind Power A/S (SWP). In SWP she was in charge of a new Export control and customs team, hired International specialist from UK, Mexico, Canada and of course Denmark and formed within 3 years a successful team and strong processes to grant compliance in foreign trade of the company. From 2011 she join the renewable energy head quarter in Nuremberg with close contact to the Israeli export control and customs specialists. As Siemens decided to close down the solar business Sabine decided to go back to her roots and is now Head of the customs team in the Division Power Generation within Siemens AG, Erlangen, which is in charge of fossil power plants. Sabine has a Master degree in International Customs Law and Administration from the University of Canberra, Australia.
