Dietmar Jost

Dietmar Jost graduated in Customs and Finance at the Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences in Münster, Germany. Dietmar Jost has over 25 years of professional experience in the Customs and international trade domain. Some of the stations in his career include the German Customs administration, the German Ministry of Finance, the World Customs Organization in Brussels and the strategy consultancy firm Booz & Company (now Strategy&). During his long career Mr. Jost contributed significantly to the work on key international instruments, standards and recommendations such as the WCO Revised Kyoto Convention, the Data Model, the UCR, the SAFE Framework of Standards and the Risk Management Guidelines. Since 2007, Mr. Jost is active as a management consultant in projects world-wide providing advice to governments as well as industry in Customs, trade facilitation and supply chain security matters.
