Welcome to the Master of Customs Administration, Law and Policy!

The Master of Customs Administration, Law and Policy (MCA) is an international postgraduate course offered by Münster University, one of Germany’s leading educational establishments. It aims to prepare customs practitioners for managerial positions in the fields of customs and international trade. Accordingly, attention is paid to major issues such as revenue collection, compliance management, trade facilitation and supply chain security.

The course employs blended-learning techniques in order to accommodate the professional commitments of students: through a combination of face-to-face and distance-learning, students will be able to satisfy the academic requirements of the course without spending an extended period away from their workplaces. Although the course of studies lasts eighteen months, students are only required to spend three six-week blocks at Münster University. Graduates will be awarded the unique degree title “MCA” (Master of Customs Administration).

Münster University is a member of the International Network of Customs Universities and founded the MCA in 2005. The programme complies with the European Credit Transfer System of the European Union and has been accredited by the ZEVA Accreditation Agency in Hannover. It has also been officially recognized by the World Customs Organization as complying with its PICARD standards for customs-related postgraduate courses. Since its founding almost 100 customs professionals have graduated with the MCA degree.

The course starts each year in August. Apply now: develop your skills and further the aims of your organization!
